Happy Sunday everyone!! Hope everyone has been well. I have been great. No complaints! Getting right into today’s post, I want to share a quick word of encouragement with you.
Lately, God has been teaching me a few things. I am sure everyone had heard of the saying, “God will pay you back double for your trouble.” It’s true. This past week somethings has been occurring to me. But this week I learn that God is even more faithful than I already know. I know first had that any trouble you have or are having, God will pay you back double for your trouble.
This saying reminds me of a couple of scriptures from the Bible. The first is, “Thing works out for the good of those who love the LORD (-Romans 8:28).” All these means is that all the trouble your going through, one day it will be all worth it. Because the LORD is going to use it to your advance and He will end up with the Glory from it bring you closer to Him. Another verse is, “The LORD is good to them who wait patiently for Him, to those souls who seek Him (Lamentations 3:25).” So all this reinforces is that when you are going through your trails, wait patiently and joyfully for Him to come. He will see you and come to your aid. Coming to be good to you, coming to pay you back double for your trouble.
I want to encourage you and let you know that God is not mad at you when you go through trails. As I said in an early post, trails are meant to test your endurance and make sure your love for and faith in Jesus Christ is genuine. Occasionally, He will punish you when you are doing the wrong thing continuously. But this is for your benefit. For the Bible says, “the LORD corrects those He love, and He punishes everyone He accepts as a son (-Hebrew 12:6)” This is so you will learn, draw closing to Him, and be a better you. But these punishments and trails are not God saying He is mad at you or He hates you. Why would God ever stop loving you, or hate you? The Bible already tells us that “nothing can separate us from the love of God” (-Romans 8:38) God will never take His love away from us. So as you go through tough times, remember this: God will pay you back for your trouble, God will work out things for the good to those who love the LORD, God is good to those who wait for Him patiently, Nothing can separate us from the love of God, God is not being mean to you, God will not take His love away, and God STILL LOVES YOU.
I hope you received some encouragement today. I hope you know that whether your going through something or not, God is STILL IN LOVE with you!! And He always will be. I want everyone to have a blessed week and challenge you to show someone God’s unfailing constant love. Until we speak again, Keep God first– He Loves You!! God Bless!!
God is Love,
O, LORD! My Strength!
Many Blessings! DLaShawn
