Hope Everything is well with you guys. I can’t complain. The LORD is Always Good. So today, I have a Book Review for you guys. I know it usually take a minute for me to put these up but lately I been in a reading kind of mood and these books are page turns. Praise God! Forever & Always!
Todays’ review is on Surrendered Heart by Stephanie Perry Moore. Ms. Moore is a Christian book writer and her audience, for what I can gather, is aimed towards the youth and young adult. But anyone, no matter the age, can read, relate, and enjoy her books. This is the first time I was blessed with the privilege of reading one of her novels and I must say I enjoyed it.
Surrendered heart is book five in the Payton Skky series. Yes, it is a series but I don’t believe you have to start at book one to understand the message of the book and enjoy it. Moving right along, Surrendered heart is a pretty easy read. It isn’t to long about 179 pages and it’s broke down into about fifth-teen chapters.
So the book is about the main character Payton Skky. Payton is a freshman at a university and she is having a few problems. I don’t want to give too much away but she is a Christian and she is learning that nothing really matters but knowing God. In this book, Payton is on a quest to keep God first, make sure she is living for God every moment, and making sure those around her know Jesus Christ.
I can’t really say too much without giving the novel away, but Payton has a boyfriend named Tad. He is also a Christian. Throughout the book these to lean on Christ and each other to help the people around them. He really helps her in her walk with Christ. Their relationship is adorable. They always keep God first, always pray for each other, and are always there for each other.
This book is a great read filled with twist and turns on Payton’s walk with God with a completely surrendered heart. I encourage everyone to read this book especially if you are in a place where you are ready to surrender to God and let Him use you His way and need a let reinforcement to push you passed a little fear or need a let encouragement to jump in on Faith in Jesus Christ!
Until next time, Keep God First, Have Faith, and Never Give Up!! Keep Smiling!! Jesus is Always with you! God-willing more Book Reviews on the way!! God Bless!! 🙂
God is Love,
O, LORD! My Strength!
Many Blessings, DLaShawn
