Why Hope…. I Don’t See Anything…. ???

Dear Friends,

How are you today? I hope all is going well with you and you are tremendously Blessed! I been fine! Glory be to God! So today I have a quick message for you, not too long.  I know I always say that but…  So with nothing further to say, let’s gets started.

So this past week, I have been going through a tight but slight situation. I was feeling just really down, discourage, and discomfort. I was feeling a little bit of hopelessness and helplessness. But God is Always Good. And He is Word is Always True and will come to past. But at that moment I had forgotten it. So I went to sleep like that but joy came in the morning when He directed me to Romans 4. Right there in the 18-21 verse, my help was released. It brought me such confront gladness and joy. It restored my hope so I could go on!! Thank You, Jesus!!

Romans 4:18-21 (NIV)

18 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”[a] 19 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead —since he was about a hundred years old —and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. 20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.

These verses became my deliver sent by God that morning. I was renewed and refreshed, filled to the brim with joy and hope. Theses verses are so powerful and is an example of how we should view and always believe in God and what He is GOING to do.  Abraham hoped when there was nothing to hope in. His faith did not leave him but instead it gave him power. He never doubted God promises instead he praised God. He was absolutely sure that God can do what He said He could do. (This is what my verses say in my Bible. Today’s English Version.)

That is why it gave me so much hope because it made me think that if Abraham believed when he couldn’t physically see what God was doing, why can’t I? If God eventually gave Abraham what he wanted, why wouldn’t He do it for me? It even says in the Bible that it was because of Abraham faith that he became the “father of many nations” which was what God promised him. But it was Abraham’s faith in God, even when things didn’t seem right, that made God say, you know what he has great faith in Me, he will certainly be the “father of many nations. “

Abraham faith didn’t leave him. He always kept his faith in God and His promises and he continued to praise God. How many of us do that, Praise God before we receive something? Most of us wait until the promise comes to past until we began praising. Abraham ABSOLUTELY knew that God could do anything He said He could do! These verses blow my mind. How power are these words and how powerful is Abraham’s faith. It fills me with hope. Abraham’s faith is contiguous. This is how we should view God and He’s great promises. Because they WILL COME to pass. This is the amount of faith we should have because we know the Father and we know He could do absolutely ANYTHING He wants.

Today, I want to encourage you to keep the Faith. Increase your faith by knowing that God doesn’t break promise, not one, and even when you don’t see anything, God is still working and will bring His promises to past. God is a Good God. One thing I know for myself about God is that He is Faithful. Trust Him, Believe in Him, have Faith in Him. Because God is for you and not against you. All things will work out for you good if you love Him and are called according to His purpose. Even when you don’t see anything changing around you, or things getting better, HOPE!! God will do what He say He will do. I want you guys to have a new attitude, a new intake on life, one filled with hope , positivity, and expectancy. Go out into the world sharing God’s goodness  and have a very Blessed and Happy week. Until we meet again, God Bless!!

God is Love,

O, LORD! My Strength!

Many Blessings, DLaShawn

LORD, Why aren’t you helping me??

Dear Friends,

How is everyone’s Sunday going?? I hope well!! Mine has been amazing so far!! Praise God!! Well, today I want to share a message that has been placed on my heart recently. I thought it might help someone out there because it helped me!! I want to speak a little about trusting God and knowing that He is always there for you.

Have you ever prayed and thought that God wasn’t helping you or answering your prayers. No matter what you needed help with or what you were praying for, it seems as though God had forgotten about you or wasn’t there for you? I have felt that way many times. But I want to assure you that God is ALWAYS there, He is ALWAYS listening, and He ALWAYS answers prayers! The Bible tells us in Psalm 9: 10, “Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.” All this means is that, The LORD hears you. If you seek Him, you are sure to find Him because He is ALWAYS with you at all times. You can be sure that as long as He hears you, He is coming to help you. It says so in Isaiah 35: 4, “Tell everyone who is discouraged, “Be strong and do not be afraid!  God is coming to your rescue, coming to punish your enemies.””

I want to encourage you not to give up or become discouraged. God loves you and He cares about anything that concerns you -(Joyce Meyers). God has not left you out there stranded. We may not understand everything. The Bible even tells us in Proverbs 3:5 “Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the LORD with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.” There had been countless times where I was praying, I feel like God wasn’t helping, and right there in prayer I’m saying to Him, “LORD, why aren’t you helping me, Why aren’t your helping me.” But I was wrong to even say that or think that. I was so caught up in not getting the immediate help that I wanted and coming to my own conclusion that He wasn’t helping me. When in all actually, I should have been still and known that He is God.

In the time where I thought that God wasn’t helping me, I look back now and this verse reminds me that I shouldn’t lean on my own understanding but trust in God because I know that He will never leave me nor forsake me. And the same goes for you. God will never leave you nor forsake you. Instead of questioning God and His helping you, you should do what verse 6 say, “In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.” Therefore, when you feel like questioning if God is still there with you or is He answering you, seek Him more; Trust Him more. You will find Him and He will make straight your path unto victory.

With that being said, I know for a fact that God ALWAYS answers prayers. Therefore, I know that God is ALWAYS listening to us. And I know that God is ALWAYS with us and helping us. I want to challenge you today to start trusting God with everything you have in your everyday life. Knowing that Psalm 46:1 is true, “God is our shelter and strength, always ready to help in times of troubles.” Hope you all got as much help as I got from today’s message. Have a really Blessed week. Stay strong in the LORD and Keep Him first place!! God bless!! 🙂
